I love cartoons. As a child the adult I admired most was Hanna Barbera, and only realised much later she was two clever fellers. …which is clearly a spoof. Health and Safety is only useful as a way of  systematising common-sense – but what are the public-liability implications of an accidental release? Nor does the film show how long it takes to pack the parachute?

Bravo ‘Michael Wallis’ – surely an alias of Professor Pat Pending – for pulling off such an audacious stunt.

The device manifestly has a future in ambush-marketing.
